After having read the book (Perfume by Patrick Suskind) couple of years ago, I waited patiently for the release of the movie. Which was finally out!
I have always enjoyed reading the book first because one can use ones imagination, go deep into each words and the thrill of getting to the plot of the book before reaching the final outcome is a huge excitement ......
